Last Picture of Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson was rushed to UCLA Medical Center Thursday when he suffered a cardiac arrest in his Holmby Hills home.

He was given CPR at the scene before being transported to the hospital, where doctors unsuccessfully attempted for more than one hour to resuscitate him.

Michael Jackson died on Thursday, June 25, 2009, at 2:26 p.m.

The cause of death has yet to be determined pending autopsy results.

Courtney Love is doing great

Courtney Love looked a healthy 80 pounds while roaming New York City the other day. The Sun calls her gaunt and pale with arms thinner than a four-year-old’s. Whatever. The Sun just wants to be controversial. The editors at Anorexia Weekly see nothing wrong with this. In fact, they say Courtney could stand to lose a few pounds. You can still sort of see her when she turns sideways.

Janice Dickinson Comments on Her Health Issues

Last week on "I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here," Janice Dickinson was rushed to a medical center after feeling nauseous and vomiting profusely. Now that she is off the show, she talks about why she was sicker than a dog and needed hospitalization. "I went into the jungle after being immunized with Hepatitis A, B, C, typhoid, malaria," she says, adding that she was not putting on airs for the camera. "I contracted secondary malaria infections [while enduring] torrential rain and lightning storms, going in the mud and sticking my hands in with those crocodiles. You can't believehow arduous the situation is for the people on the show." But now she says she is doing fine: "For a middle-aged woman going through menopause and as a single parent raising two teenagers, I'm just fine and dandy." Despite her illness, Janice says she was not happy to leave the show as she wanted to win for her charity, the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Research Foundation. "I'm a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here" continues tonight on NBC at 8 p.m.

“Dorian Gray” Poster

The first poster for “Dorian Gray” directed by Oliver Parker has hit the web. The movie is based on Oscar Wilde’s novel - “The Picture of Dorian Gray” and Toby Finlay wrote the script for the movie.

Ben Barnes plays the title character in a film adaptation of Oscar Wilde’s novel which is about corrupt young man who somehow keeps his youthful beauty eternally, but a special painting gradually reveals his inner ugliness to all.

Dorian Gray (Ben Barnes) is a young man of impossible physical beauty whose portrait painted by the artist Basil Hallward (Ben Chaplin). Drawn into a corrupt and sensual life by the dissolute Lord Henry Wotton (Colin Firth), Dorian remains young and beautiful, while the painting ages in his stead.

“Dorian Gray” also stars Emilia Fox as Lady Victoria Wotton, Rebecca Hall as Emily Wotton and Rachel Hurd-Wood as Sybil Vane.

The movie opens UK theaters on September 18, 2009.

Molly Sims Puckers Up to Pregnant Heidi Klum!

An expectant Heidi Klum — and her baby girl — get a little love from pal Molly Sims during the CFDA Fashion Awards at New York’s Lincoln Center on Monday night.

Wearing a Michael Kors dress, the Project Runway host told E!, “I’m bigger than I should be, but I always gain 40-45 pounds, so I still have a ways to go.”

Heidi’s daughter, due in October, will be the fourth child for the model and husband Seal. The couple have their name list narrowed down to five, Heidi says, and will wait until they meet their baby girl to make a final decision.

A ‘Proposal’ You Cannot Refuse

Last night David and I made our way into the Valley for a dinner/movie date together. We ended up grabbing some grub at the Sherman Oaks Galleria before seeing a sneak preview showing of The Proposal at the ArcLight:

I am very happy to report that The Proposal is a really funny movie. The writing is pretty funny but the on-screen chemistry between Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds is what really makes the movie work. It’s a little chick-flicky but really very funny. I loved every single scene that Betty White was in … the movie has it all. If you see this movie for no other reason … go see it for Ryan Reynold’s bare ass scene. Yes, Sandra looks amazing all nekkid as well but — I gotta say — Ryan is the draw for me :) The movie opens in theaters next weekend … grab some friends and see it. I’m pretty sure you’ll love it!!

After the movie, David and I grabbed some dessert and coffee at my fave SoCal cafe Aroma Cafe in Studio City before we made our way back home:

Today, we’re hoping to meet up with Jordan for late brunch and then are meeting up with Tamar and Rob for another movie. The sun looks like it wants to come out … but notsomuch just yet. Hope your Sunday is a great one!!

Sharon Osbourne Owes the IRS

According to the State of California, reality show star Sharon Osbourne, wife of Ozzy Osbourne, is behind in her taxes and owes the IRS a small chunk of change.

Here is what we know; back in 2007 Sharon owed $436,026 in back taxes and didn’t pay them on time, which resulted in a $50,000 fine–no small sum!

The outspoken celebrity paid back almost all of the money, but she still owes $23,000.  There must be something more to the story…right?  Either that or she is simply all tapped out for now.

Jon & Kate’s 10th anniversary: Gosselins spend milestone apart

Friday marked Jon and Kate Gosselin’s 10th wedding anniversary, but the stars of TLC’s “Jon & Kate Plus Eight” didn’t seem to notice.

A decade after they were happily married and five years since the birth of their sextuplets, the couple is now rarely seen together - and spent their diamond anniversary apart.

While the pair’s off-camera marital woes, including accusations of infidelity on both sides, have become front page news over the past few months, the gossip has helped birth huge ratings.

The fifth season premiere of “Jon & Kate Plus Eight” drew 9.8 million viewers, nearly double the series’ previous high.

The day began like any other for the reality stars, with the hit show’s cameramen filming the couple’s eight children playing with their nanny in the front yard of the family’s Wernersville, Pa. mansion.

Kate surfaced around 2 p.m. to set up an outdoor barbeque for her brood, and even surprised the kids with a new bounce playhouse.

As for Jon, he hasn’t been spotted near the Gosselin compound since Wednesday, the day after he was seen picking up the family’s German Shepherds from a kennel in Delaware.

Neither Jon nor Kate’s representatives have commented on whether the reality stars have any other plans to commemorate what could be their last anniversary as a couple.

Gordon's Gaffe

Gordon Ramsay isn't exactly known for his tact.

But this time his big mouth has gotten him into some boiling water...and some Aussie's can't take the heat and want him out of their kitchens!

He won't be putting a shrimp on the Barbie in Australia anytime soon, as the entire country including the Prime Minister is peeved at rude comments he made to female television employees.

He infamously called Channel 9 TV news anchor Tracy Grimshaw an "ugly old pig" and made other rude comments to her, and other staff at the station.

Sounds like vintage Gordon to us, and he's certainly no stranger to controversy, but now his lack of filter has alienated an entire country.

Prime Minister Kevin Rudd calls Ramsay "a new form of low life". Ouch!

Tracy Grimshaw's gotten a few knocks of her own in, calling Gordon an "arrogant narcissist".

Well, um...duh. She's obviously never seen Kitchen Nightmares!

Journalists Laura Ling and Euna Lee get sentenced in North Korea

Until a few months ago, the only thing I knew about Current TV is that it is home to infoMania, the half-hour satirical news program that gives us Sarah Haskins' Target: Women. I didn't even know the cable network was backed by Al Gore. Of course this was before Current TV journalists Laura Ling and Euna Lee were detained by North Korea, after being discovered along the Chinese border in March.

Yesterday the women were sentenced to 12 years in a North Korean labor camp — a harsher punishment than anyone imagined — on charges of "hostile acts" and entering North Korea illegally.

Early stories say that Ling and Lee were reporting on North Korean refugees, while journalist Lisa Ling, Laura's sister, insists that the two were working on a story about North Korean women being trafficked into China. Of course, at this point, squabbling over their intended reportage seems superfluous.

Jennifer Aniston Collapses On Set Of “The Baster”

Jennifer Aniston’s 14 hour work days finally caught up to her on the set of her new film, “The Baster“.

“She frantically yelled out, ‘I need a break!’ She said she felt dizzy and light-headed. She’s usually so calm,” says an on-set informant. “She rushed to her trailer to rest and collect herself, but she lost her balance and nearly keeled over. The collapse really shook Jen up. It was a wake-up call that she needs to slow down.”

Of course this source also claims that Jennifer is plagued with sleepless nights because of her stress of being alone at 40.

What Happens In Vegas . . .

Yesterday afternoon, David and I made our way to the ArcLight in Hollywood, CA to see The Hangover after hearing so many good things about the flick. We decided to go to a movie at 5:30 in order to avoid the crush of people also vying for a chance to see this movie … we were happy to find the theater mostly empty. As far as comedies go, this one was pretty good … but I’m afraid it wasn’t nearly as hilarious as everyone seems to be saying:

Let me be clear … The Hangover is really funny but, again, it ain’t the funniest thing I’ve ever seen. The juvenile humor was pretty entertaining (tho, I can really do without the “faggot” jokes) and the crazy shizz that goes down was insanely entertaining but I was really annoyed that all the funny parts were prominently shown in the trailer for the film. There are a few funny gags that are not shown in the trailer but, I’m afraid, if you’ve seen the trailer then you’ve pretty much seen the film. I understand that The Hangover 2 is already in the works … so hardcore fans of the film have that to look forward to.

Next, David and I want to see Drag Me to Hell … which also has been getting ridiculously positive reviews. I hope that one lives up to the hype. BUT TONIGHT … I will be chillin’ with some good friends watching Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final rooting for my beloved Detroit Red Wings! They are only 1 game away from winning the Stanley Cup again!

Last year, the Red Wings defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins in Pittsburgh to win the 2008 Stanley Cup, I’m really hoping for a repeat tonight!! Woot!!! I will pretty much be a wreck for the rest of the day … I’m really hopin’ for a happy outcome for the Wings :)
